My friend Melissa is one of those girls that you either love with all your heart or you absolutely despise her. She is living the life that I and every single female in the world wish we were living. Melissa is 25 she is gorgeous and recently became engaged to a millionaire internet entrepreneur. What ads more insult to injury is that she met this guy on an online dating site. So while I am all alone without even a boyfriend my best friend is planning a multimillion dollar wedding to the man of her dreams. I am happy for her, I really am but I can't help but to feel sorry for myself.

Now I wish that I had been willing to join the dating site when she joined it, but I had thought it kind of dorky to look for love online so I never got around to signing myself up though I kept promising her that I would. So while I was sitting at home alone and too proud to join a dating site she did and ended up meeting a really great guy. Here I thought all that those dating sites really delivered were guys who wanted a fling and she ended up meeting a man that is now going to spend the rest of his life with her.

Of course now any sane person would join the same dating site that she joined but now I feel like a real loser doing it. It's like now I want to find the same thing that she found but I know that I won't so I don't even want to waste my time doing it. It's a fact of life that life is not fair and while some of us get to love the lucky life like Melissa others are not so lucky, like me. I will just have to find my mansomewhereelse, and I have to do it soon before the wedding gets here. I need to have a date in time for all of thefest ivies, there is now way that I am going to face going alone.

Tonight I have to go to dinner with Melissa and her fiancé. Though it a bit hard I still love going out with them and seeing how in love they are. He will sit next to her all night caressing her arms and hugging her constantly and it reminds me that though I have not found my guy yet one day I will and I will have the same thing they have too.
