I know I probably sound bitter and jealous, but I can't help it, there has been no passion in my life for over 3 months and its really starting to wear on me a lot. When I was a teenager in high school I really hated dating. It seemed you could not have a boyfriend and be in a nice and healthy relationship without all kinds if drama suddenly taking over andruiningthe whole thing. I remember that I even lost two guys that I was dating to two of my best friends. I was so heart broken by both of thoseoccurrencesthat each time I swore that I would never be with any guy again, no matter how cute he was. Well I got over my teenage dating issues and now at the age of 21 I am living a wonderful and very active dating life. I have been a member of an online dating site for quite some time now and I have to tell you I am a little bitdisappointed. I came into online dating with an open mind thinking I would find passion and romance and instead all I found were a bunch of jerks who only wanted sex. I can't even believe that a fewE Harmonycommercials convinced me to do try this online dating thing. It sucks! There were so many things telling me not to do this that it was not absolutelynecessarybut I just ignored themconvincingmyself that going in full of doubt would only make me less appealing. Who does online dating anyway? Perverts and psychos just waiting to chop my body up into tiny bits. Also I mean there has to be something wrong with all of these people if they are too scared of being seen in public dating and they are forced to do it over the computer. I don't consider myself a shallow person but I would like to date someone who is at least a little bit attractive. All the men I've been paired with where glasses like Buddy Holly and spike there hair up, as if it makes them look cool. Dating women of my generation find it harder to get back on track after you have been out of the cycle for a while. My husband died about two years ago and it seems as if I have not been able to put myself back out there. He was a handsome man and I still have his picture on my night-stand in the bedroom.
